Animal Caretaker to provide support in the Laboratory of RNA Biology - ERA Chairs Group

Laboratory of RNA Biology - ERA Chairs Group https://shorturl.at/lxI56 at the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IIMCB), Warsaw, headed by Andrzej Dziembowski, Prof. is looking for Animal Caretaker.

You will join the project entitled „Principles of endogenous and therapeutic mRNA turnover in vivo”, acronym ViveRNA (Project no 101097317) under Horizon Europe of the European Union, funded by the ERC Advanced Grant.

Your role will be to support members of the laboratory to conduct research using transgenic mouse models.

Candidates will be selected according to the procedure complying the rules of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers as a part of HR Excellence in Research strategy https://bit.ly/3U0dydP

Requirements for the candidate:

• Holds Bachelor’s or equivalent in Zootechnics or other Life Science discipline
• Has experience in mouse breeding, including genetically modified animals
• Holds appropriate FELASA/Pollasa certification
• Has experience in working in sterile conditions, especially ICV systems
• Practical experience in use of animal tracking systems (Softmouse, Anibio) will be an advantage 

We offer:

1. Full-time employment contract initially for 12 months that could be extended up to 3 years,
2. Gross monthly remuneration approx. 5400 PLN

6. Extra PTO days (up to 10) starting from the second year of employment
